Dreaming By: Jason Jung

Like Mr. Martian Luther said “I have a dream.”
Like how Kevin Garnett had a dream to make his team.
Like Abraham he worked for the Emancipation Proclamation.
Why would this matter, arent we a united nation?

United like Scout and Jem.
And he's working and playing like they're singing a hymn of passion and pain.

We the people are forever and we aren’t resting till we get our tranquilly.
We work our luxury to take the tranquility drug of gradualism to our ability.
We're dreaming that we can live life to its' fullest.

Without this discrimination on things that we're born with.

Why would the world turn like this.

God created us,making good out of us.

But our personalities and our hatred has created this.

Until MLK rang the bell of justice.

Making a saying that influenced every single one of us.

When we see a unfair trial we sit and stare.

Like we're in outer space and can't talk without air.

From the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood.

Man, all we have done is just stood.

Why don't we bother to help out one another?

Whats the diffrence from being a hater or a promoter?

We've been fighting for these days of freedom for the slaves.

With thousands of souls giving their lives to make a gaze for freedom.

Isn't America the land of justice and liberty?

Man if only our founding fathers could see.

Some of you have come from areas where your quest for freedom left you battered by the storms of perscution and staggered by the winds of police brutality.

But we've reached the days where we will give luxury of tranquility for the best of our abilities.

"I have a dream."
