Christmas at Hailey's House...Lena Lundwall

All of a sudden we heard a knocking at the door. The fluffy little fur ball started barking like it was the end of the world. Hailey gets up and tells Izze to stop barking. She opens the door and sees a man standing at the door wearing a ginormous coat.

christmas by parker schafer

time is moving slower almost motionless as the cold maple syrup that I am looking forward to have when the time is right the sun has risen when Christmas morning begins I don’t know how many times I will continue to have this time stopping nightmare of waiting for the call to get gifts and see the reactions from the gifts I gave, And when our Christmas is at an end we got what we hoped for and a little bit more. , Now I look into the darkness of the shadowy warm room and thinking about the true meaning of Christmas, time flies like a warm glass of maple syrup that is settling at the bottom of my stomach, this reminds me of the day of never forgotten love.

The Season of Celebration by Emily McBride

The house is decked out with snow men, holly and garland. Lights illuminate my life and remind me of how good it truly is....This is where memories are made, and the one word that describes it all, Bliss!

2 Sentences Jason Jung

They can be biotic or abiotic. The feeling when you accomplish something here means a lot to not only you but the people around you and people keep pushing you and help to inspire you to do good and better.

Enemy of the State: A Love Story

My mind is weary. The adrenaline is still rushing form the days of the past. Hopefully, tomorrow brings the sunshine I so richly need.

Descriptive Writing by Parker Brock

It’s 6:30 a.m. and the alarm is ringing, the lights go on and the radio is playing. As the young man turns around he sees his brother standing there. He asks “are you ready?” “Ready for what,” says the boy. “The big game of course! Are you ready for it?” The boy smiles and says, “I’m ready. Been ready, and I am ready to win.”

A Usual Day Going Shopping for Christmas by Veisha Stribling

A usual day going shopping for Christmas can be fun but very long because my mom things she has all the time in the world. I wake up mostly at 11 or 9 but my mom wakes up early so she can do her bible study; but she always thinks she alone but she not. I always creep up on her and say good morning to get the day started. We talk and I get some breakfast a bowl of cereal or breakfast she made. We talk about what we are going to do for the day and usual stuff. Then eventually Melvin wakes up and says good morning and eats breakfast. Then I say I will get ready first, and then I go to look for my clothes. Then I get in and Melvin waits but he gets very impatience when I don’t hurry up. But I still take even longer then I finally get out so he stops bagging on the door, and he gets to go in and he has to give me a smart remark so I slap him in the head.

Turkey Shoot by Melanie Ririe

The light gave way to dark at five-o-clock and we were still on our way, but now I was tired enough to fall asleep so I took a little nap. All I could hear was my music and the rumbling of the car traveling down the road and I was out. When I woke up everything was blurry and bright, I couldn't see at first because my contacts were dry but when everything came into view I saw the amazing stars shine up from the city of lights. All I could think of was here we are again; I can't wait to see what memories we'll make this time. And then I was asleep in the bed I'd rest in all weekend long.

When you know that Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner you think about your school break and having fun with all your friends-and even spending quality time with your lover. Who thinks about spending time with their families? Thanksgiving break;the first long break of your year. During Thanksgiving break is the time to be spending with your family and sharing thanks for everything one another has done for each other. During Christmas break it is all about opening presents to the younger kids they don’t really understand the real value of being able to sit around the Christmas tree enjoying the beauty of the happiness and love flowing through the air.

2 discriptive sentences by Chandler Hendrickson

1. I go outside and see snow on the ground; I shiver a bit then get into the car

2. The house smells of delicate aromas such as turkey, cranberries, ham, and stuffing.

One Winters Night By: Analee Meyer

Words, Words, Words posted by Ms. L

Taylor Swift was on Oprah yesterday, and I thought what she said about words and poetry was extremely interesting and helped, no doubt, in her amazing success.

Here's part of the interview: Before Taylor was a singer, she was a poet. She won a national poetry contest when she was only 9 years old, and by the age of 12 she was putting her poems to music. "If you can put words together the right way, and if you put the right rhymes at the end of the right sentences, you can make words bounce of a page. That's always been my favorite thing," she says. "I've made sure that in any situation and with any record label, I'm allowed to write my own music."

It all begins with ideas and writing.... :)

I have a Dream! By: Shelby Nevenner/ Martin Luther King Jr.

I have a dream that one day the world will come together and be one. We will rise together and conquer any obstacle in our path. Blacks and whites will have no trouble working together and acting civil with one another. We will make ourselves proud with what we have accomplished. We will be one!
Freedom will ring from up high as our world is pulled from the quick sands of injustice. Some will be happy and have laughter from here on forth and never think about racism again, and for those that do I hope you will one day see the light of freedom, and that we are all equal human beings. No matter what we look like and where we come from.
Our world will be as free from racism as a white woman is to sing anywhere she pleases. All though racism is not over until the fat lady sings. It’s about time she sings, because the day is here where it should be a thing of our past and not of our future. It needs to end now!!
As I sit here writing this I think to myself “Those people who are racist to other people haven’t stepped in their shoes, they haven’t seen the light that they are seeing out of their eyes.” They are judging without knowing. They are hating with no reason. There not letting people show there true side.
Going forward and going back are two completely different things, and I think it’s time to stop taking one step forward and two steps back. It’s time forgive and forget. It’s time for peace and quiet. Not hate and war. Love is so strong so why push out the love and bring in the hate? There is no reason for that.
I have a dream that although racism is not completely gone it will be soon. And the world will stop and look at what they take for granted others might take as blessed, and that they will begin to cherish what they have more. They will stop the brawling and combat, and be more passionate and caring for one another. They will not destroy one another’s possessions. But most of all I have a dream to come together and be one! To work together as if everything you have worked so hard for came crashing down like a ton of bricks. I want PEACE!!!

Fused poem with "I Have a Dream" By Kayla Livingston

Dream Speech
About fourteen years ago a generation of unbelievable imagination was unleashed.
The generation of dreaming had started on a wild rollercoaster of never ending possibilities.
Where dreams turned out to be our waking reality with everything we have ever known.
Where our generation had started on a trip of life and joy but it had only just begun.

When people look at the stars what do they see?
When some people look up into the stars they see their whole life flash before their eyes.
Space is one of the biggest dreams we have ever encountered it’s a giant step into our future.
Maybe one day we will see what is going to happen and try our hardest to make it come true!

Martin Luther king is a great visionary for a lot of people; he has inspired us to make big jumps in our lives.
He had a very big dream to make a change in the world when things got hard.
To make a change in the world would be great a great goal remember it only takes one person.
We are so lucky to have everything that we have in our country that bonds us together by red, white, and blue.

Having all the many helpings in life makes it ten times easier.
Life is an adventure, if we play by the rules we will go far.
If we fall we will always have a helping hand to get back up again.
Whoever helps us up determines what kind of person we are and builds character.

Would you want to be in a country where sitting on a bus determined everything about you?
Well it has already happened, what happened to “Every man is created equal?”
Apparently America “The land of the free and the home of the brave” was not as free as we thought.
The pledge of allegiance is for all Americans since when did people disagree?

When the pledge of allegiance is spoken everyone is making a pledge in the country in which they stand.
I have a Dream that the trees will never stop growing and the wind will never stop blowing until I’m gone.
I have a dream that the days will drag on like justice rolling down a mighty stream.
I have a dream to enjoy the crazy endless rollercoaster that we call life!

I Have (collaboration with MLK’s“I Have a Dream” and To Kill a Mockingbird) by: Andres Carrasquillo aka Drace

Martin Luther King Jr.: “ I have a dream that this nation will
rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed:… that all men are
created equal.”
(Verse 1)
I have a dream that the souls of millions
Will touch billions and trillions
Of civilians
Living in this nation
As we sit waiting
Gradually losing our patience
Because we’re patients
Subjects in government experimentation
Like T kill a M trial section
Protecting the objection
T. Robinson is crippled; but we’re too quiet to scream objection.

(Verse 2)
MLK said it best
We’re going to cash our check
But “insufficient fund” returned?
That’s where I digress.
No use in trying to act subtle
You can try to Maudie it like after the fire, but there is still trouble.
But even through the fire the the snow still falls.
We have to have Scout innocence through it all.
If you Ewell through the night, accusation is called.
But we cannot walk alone; tend to those who fall.

(Verse 3)
I have a vision that the enemies' cloth, will break at the seam.
Where justice rolls down like water; righteousness like a stream.
No more Atticus daughter, please stop wearing those jeans.
Where we walk and we march on just like a team.
No dividing the blame, we share the same outcome.
Regretful white and black, but I did it without one.
Where we're not price tagged or in other words labeled.
We sit down and have a meal at the brotherhood table.

(Verse 4)
I have something to shoot for and loved ones that carry me on.
The heat of injustice is what makes me strong.
Want winter to migrate for the summer ahead.
Leave our past corpses abandoned and dead.
The land that my fathers died for,
the reason we make our eyes pour,
no evil can look inside
and see what is it I strive for.
To be an example for those using methods so absurd.
Hunting with ballistics for humans in their herds.
The hate, discrimination, and all the shocking words.
Cause they don't know that it's a sin to kill a mockingbird.

We have a dream to acheive our goals(fused with to kill a mocking bird and I have a dream) By: Melissa Gabourie

I have a dream that everyone would be

Judged not by the outside but by the inside.

If your black or white you shouldn’t be

Judged by your skin but by if your kind or mean.

I have a dream that weather your

Rich or poor you would be treated equally.

There’s a man that doesn’t have anything,

But is worth more than anything because he’s kind.

There’s a man that has everything,

But is worth nothing because he’s mean.

I have a dream that people will judge people not

By what they have but by what their like inside.

I have a dream that men and women

Would be treated equal.

Martin Luther King Jr. said men would be

Guaranteed the inalienable rights of life,

Liberty and the pursuit of happiness

He meant for man kind to get those

Things which includes men and women.

I have a dream that when someone said he weather their

Black or white, man or women

You would say hi back it’s the least you could do.

The simplest thing could mean the world to someone.

I have a dream that just because you

Were black or white, men or women

They wouldn’t think that they are

Licked before hey even start.

I have a dream that when you saw someone you

Wouldn’t treat them like what they looked

Like but by how they treated you and not to treat

Them rudely or anything until you know them.

We All Have Dreames (Fused with I Have A Dream and TO Kill A Mocking Bird)By Kaleigh Gundersen

I have a deam

That people will come together and stop hating people

That they will put themself aside and think of other people

It is not ok to hate anybody

I have a dream

That others wont jude people for whats on the outside but for whats on the inside

People are too quick to jude others when they don't even know them, or know whats going on in there life

Don't juge someone until you step into there skin and walk around

I have a dream

That the future will be a new beging for everyone

New things will come are way

Some maybe hard some maybe easy and some we may never overcome

I have a dream

That the whole world will come together and fix everything with are economy

That we will not have anymore wars

That we can have world peace

we cannot walk alone
I have a dream
That my family will get along
That they will be able to agree on one thing
That no ones feelings will get hurt because of one persons choice

Dreaming By: Jason Jung

Like Mr. Martian Luther said “I have a dream.”
Like how Kevin Garnett had a dream to make his team.
Like Abraham he worked for the Emancipation Proclamation.
Why would this matter, arent we a united nation?
United like Scout and Jem.
And he's working and playing like they're singing a hymn of passion and pain.

We the people are forever and we aren’t resting till we get our tranquilly.
We work our luxury to take the tranquility drug of gradualism to our ability.
We're dreaming that we can live life to its' fullest.
Without this discrimination on things that we're born with.
Why would the world turn like this.
God created us,making good out of us.
But our personalities and our hatred has created this.
Until MLK rang the bell of justice.
Making a saying that influenced every single one of us.
When we see a unfair trial we sit and stare.
Like we're in outer space and can't talk without air.
From the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood.
Man, all we have done is just stood.
Why don't we bother to help out one another?
Whats the diffrence from being a hater or a promoter?
We've been fighting for these days of freedom for the slaves.
With thousands of souls giving their lives to make a gaze for freedom.
Isn't America the land of justice and liberty?
Man if only our founding fathers could see.
Some of you have come from areas where your quest for freedom left you battered by the storms of perscution and staggered by the winds of police brutality.
But we've reached the days where we will give luxury of tranquility for the best of our abilities.
"I have a dream."

Just Another Dream (Fused by 'I have a dream') by: Callie Johnson

I have a dream that one day people will wake up, and want to change their ways. That they will want to put other before themselves, not because they know that it is what is right but because they want to.

I have a dream that if I just live my life, day by day, and take it as it comes, I will end up happy. If I take the road less traveled, it will pay off in the end. I have a dream choosing the right, even when it’s a complicated situation, will be worth it.

I have a dream that every family can live their lives in peace without worrying about where they stand money-wise. And all that will matter is who they are, and what is in the heart. That’ no one will judged by the size of the wallet, by what really counts.

I have a dream that the world can cherish each day more carefully and become of peace, love and happiness. That everyone will realize that there is a tomorrow but don’t forget about today. That we can understand what is going on in the world today, instead of just living as if there is nothing to live for, than just yourself.

I have a dream that happiness will be part of everyday life. Each day could be lived with out stress but lived worth living your life.

Tournament(with "To kill a Mokingbird" and "I have a dream Speech") by Melanie Ririe

The score was 2-0 they were winning
I felt like Miss Caroline on her first day
Could we catch up? Did we want it enough?
Then we were awoken in the night to a fire

All of the sudden we were tied 2-2
Five score years ago this wouldn’t have been possible
It all started with a goal scored at half field
The fans went wild as Maycomb during the trail

The suspense was too much to handle
I felt like hungry dill waiting under the bed
But instead I’m hungry for a win
A victory like no other!

We were working so hard to blaze
While the whole town was trying to put us out
The whole water team thought they could stop us
But no they couldn’t!

We made it known to them that we weren’t going to give up
But in a way Atticus would use in court
The other team didn’t know it was coming but the fans did
We were in the fight to win!

I could feel it, a goal, it was coming
We were going to take first or go home
Without knowing Boo Radley was right behind us
We slammed one into the net ending the game at 3-2
We won!

It came as a joyous daybreak
To the end of the long night

The beginning of September
Dance!

Battered by the storms of [failure]
staggered by the winds of [mistake]

I recover and
Dance!

Until I feared I would lose it,
I never loved to read
One does not love breathing
Reading!

Let us not seek to satisfy our
Thirst for [knowledge]

You never understand a person until
You climb into his skin
And walk around in it

I Have My Dreams

Hidden Within the Souls of Some( fused with " I Have a Dream" Speech and TKM) by Morgan Miera

I have a dream that one day this nation
will rise up and live out the true meaning of it's promise;
" We hold these truth's to be self evident;
that all men are created equal."
The dream of equality has long vibrated in our nation.
From the days of cruelty and harsh reality for anyone without pale skin,
until today when in justice and racal profiling exists still,
though hidden within the souls of some.
As you grow older,
you'll see white men cheat black men everyday of your life.
Whenever a white man does that to a black man no matter who he is,
how rich he is, or how fine a family he comes from,
that man is trash.
Long has the beaten down man
hungered for what is essentaily his god given right.
Freedom from the manacles of segragation
and the chains of discrimination.
People in a whole,
must realize for all to be equal,
that our destiny is as one people,
our freedom must be as one freedom.
We cannot walk alone.
As whe walk we must make the pledge that we shall march ahead.
We cannot turn back.
We are thriving to make this world a better place.
As we keep moving forward we will someday reach the point where we can truly say with liberty and justice for all.

Together fusing ("To Kill A Mokinbird & I have a dream")by Anngie Escamilla

I have wonder many times what the world would be like if we were all perfect and didn't make any mistakes.
If people were more honest, let's think about it.
Stop being judges and discriminating, woudln't you rather share a piece of cake?

Be a look-througher, not a look-atter.
I have a dream that one day, just one day people will stop labeling each other, that all that would just stop and see one another as brothers and sisters.

Its never an insult to be called what somebody thinks is a bad name, you could see burning hot flames in some one's eyes if they call you something bad because they're angry, have you thought of how much worse it is to go along with that person?
Think, it just shows you how poor that person is,it doesn't hurt you.
It is more important what you think of yourself and label yourself than anyone else.

When the moon rises, and its full, reflecting the sun's light, look at it and it will wink at you while its shinning up in the sky.
Then you think of how we human beings are destroying our own world. WArs going on when the sky is crying, and not even the cold, shivery winds can stop their anger.
Not even when the sun's smiling and its bright, shiny teeth illuminate the world.
Can't just peace come along?

Martin Luther King Jr. Oh what a great example.
His purity, honesty, love, wouldn't you want a sample?
He had a dream, and he never gave up.
He just wanted equality, for all those black men that you could look at.
his strong feeling for doing the right is something to admire.
It made a lot of people smile, and it made me get inspired.

"This will be the day when all of God's children will be able to sing with a new meaning," he once said.
He dreamed of all being able to work together, to stand up for freedom together, knowing that we will be free one day.
I have a dream. I have a dream, i want to make it come true and fight for it.
He a dream. You have a dream. They have a dream. We all have a dream.
I guess that's what so far unites us.
Shouldn't we fight for it together?

My own Dream ("I Have a Dream") By Gabrielle Siwik

Dreams what is a dream?
Dreams are wild and deep, you never recognize them in your sleep.
Do we ever see them? I do think so.
Every day there is someone with a dream a little child asleep, a family wishing they will make it through another day.
A dream is more than what we sleep.
It is also a hope. people need to hold on to hope we would not be far with out Hope with use is hope.
Dreams are of more power than you think Dreams are powerful beyond our measure.
"A dream is a wish your heart makes when its fast asleep" this is true dreams are magic.
Quoted by Martin Luther king Jr. " I have a Dream that little black boys and little black girls will be able to join hands with little whit boys and little white girls and walk together as sisters and brothers."
His dream was not just for him but for the whole nation its a dream that is slowly coming true. Dreams can be little things or big things.
Every one has a dream what is yours?

Dreaming (fused with 'I Have A Dream') by Edelweiss Torres

Dreams can be real or fake
Dreams on the realistic side are like visions
You can see what the future holds.
Don’t judge people by their dreams.

Walk around in their shoes;
And understand them
Once you see what they see
Feel what they feel
Go ahead and make your judgment

Dreams are peoples’ hopes and wishes
Equal rights is what it’s all about
Just because someone might clean and wash dishes
Doesn’t mean they can’t become president one day

Dreams are the lottery
A good handful of people have their
True dreams come true.
While others have no luck and keep trying
And struggling to win the ‘lottery’

One hundred years ago dreams were hard
To achieve.
Now flash forward 100 years, which is now.
Look at the differences, look at how much things
Have changed, and progressed over time.

Dreams can be real or fake.
You choose if you can make them happen,
Or just become a figment of your imagination.
Don’t let anybody or anything fool you.
Just because you’re white, black, orange or
Purple shouldn’t get in the way of dreams.

Our Inspiration (fused with "I have a dream" and To Kill a Mockingbird) by Jonathan Ramirez

Dreams can be made by anyone

Achieving them can only be done by some

The simple act of working hard

Never giving up can bring us far

By simply achieving a dream

Can lead us all to the extreme

It will all be clear

That nothing will bring us down, including fear

Chains of discrimination

In a said to be thoughtful and wonderful nation

We were all made from a sad and blue generation

Let us bring down racism and its creation

Dreams of Hope (fused with "I Have a Dream") by Brittany Atkin

I Have a Dream

I have a dream of hope
Anyone can help bring hope if they try
It doesn’t matter who you are or where you come from, anyone can help bring hope into another ones life
A great beacon light of hope can come down if we join together

I have a dream of love
We want and long for love so much but are scared of it
We are scared to love because of what other people might think
There’s so much hatred and war in this world of ours…this world is now covered with a thick sheet of hate
We are drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred
Now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of hate to the sunlit path of love

I have a dream of change
I have a dream that one person can change the worlds perspective of things. If one person can change a life, why can’t one person change a world?
If one person can change a country, why can’t one person change this world?
I have a dream that when this world changes, all the children of this Earth shall join hands and walk together as brothers and sisters

I have a dream of respect
I have a dream that more than two completely different people can be friends and join hands together to bring this country Unites Stated back to meaning
I have a dream all people can be friends as long as you let yourself bring it

I have a dream of success.
I have a dream anyone can be successful if they want it enough.
Set your mind to your goals and it will happen.
Even failures can be successful in their lives.

I have a dream of unity.
Families should stick together no matter what, through good and bad times.
Family is the key to the universe, once you have it and stick to it happiness will come and nothing will bring you down.

My Dreams (fused with "I Have A Dream" and "To Kill A Mockingbird") By Chandler Hendrickson

I have a dream

That all people will

Know what it feels like to

Have true friends.

I have a dream that

Everyone will know it is

A sin to kill a

Mockingbird in any place.

I have a dream

That one day everyone

Can and will be

Safe from starvation.

One day I hope

That all people can have

The same rights with

All others in the world

No matter what color skin.

Lastly my dream is

To have assurance that everyone can have

The same education as

Others, white or black, it

Doesn’t matter who you are.

Dreams are not always visible(with bits and pieces from To Kill a Mockingbird an I Have A Dream) by Canyon Smith

Dreams, dreams are not always visible, even though they are images. Dreams float about us everyday. Dreams fill the air in every way.
Dreams are the essence of life, dreams lead to life, a life filled with prosperity. Dreams are put on this earth for a reason, to be fulfilled. Dreams explain a person, who they are, what they love, why they love, and what they favor.
People need these dreams to keep on going in life. Dreams are what you wand to do in life or change.
You can have your dreams and people can have theirs but you cannot fully understand these dreams until you get in their skin.
Your dreams can be as simple as waking up every morning, or as complex as discovering the theory of evolution. But know that can not always be accomplished.
These complex dreams are the ones we strive. These dreams, such as the civil rights movement. This changed the history of the united States, People could not be in such good peace if not for doctor King. So take your dreams and live them out and well if you fail and the dream isn’t the one, make new hopes and dreams and live them.
Dreams like running around as a wolf. It is not possible but it is still a dream. A dream of no more war but only peace is still a dream. A dream of a happy, long life with a family is still a dream. These dreams are my own personal dreams. I pursue them like a cop does a robber.
A dream is still a dream no matter what and it is your dream, your own personal dream. And you should go for it no matter what it is.

Another Mans Dream(fused with "I have a Dream" and "To Kill a Mockingbird") By: Trisha Messick

You never know him until you’ve jumped in his skin
You never know what a game is like until you win
People have been seared in the flames of withering injustice for years
Others wonder what the futures hides in fears

There are many people out there like a great beacon light of hope
They try to help the poor that just sit around and mope
But another man has dreams filled with sorrow
And hopes that it will get better in the days of tomorrow

We have taken a step into his light
But we still don’t understand his life
You see him every day
And he shines in his own special way

You never would guess
What this man had to confess
He dreamt about each night
And it gave him a terrible fright

This man had many thoughts
and he saved them in a special spot
The nations bank was bankrupt
And made every person go corrupt

This man no longer dreams
his fearful, crazy dreams
For to this day
They are true in every single way!

I Have a Dream (Fused with MLK jr speech) By: Quinne Christison

I Have a Dream
That the world can come together to unite
To unite as one whole
Because our destiny's are tied together
I Have a Dream
That I can live life to its fullest
We must discord our nation
Discord it onto a beautiful symphony of success
I Have a Dream
That there will be no more wars
That the whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake our nation
Till' we heed not to physical violence
I Have a Dream
That our Country will rise up
Up and out of the recession
It will be fatal to overlook the urgency of this time
I have a Dream
That the U.S.A can be safe
safe from any harm or accident
That we can let safety ring from every mountain
I Have a Dream
That I can change
Change myself, for the better
I'm always looking to improve

He Had a Dream-( Fused with MLK) By. Ashlyn Stackhouse

He had a dream.
A dream that would inspire the painted nation
And changing the eyes of the colorless nation
Leaving a mark in our skin.

He had a dream.
A dream that one day his homeland would rise up
And live out the true meaning
Of its creed.

His dream was simple.
Reaching out across the nation
To black and white lifestyles of this kingdom.
His dream was simple, but so outspoken.

She has a dream.
That the world could stop looking at the terrible,
But the joy and kindness that people give off.
A dream of our nation in a beautiful symphony.

She has a dream that warfare will come to its closing chapter.
Letting the world have time to heal
From all the victims,
In addition to daunting scenes that were displayed.

They did not walk alone, they did not turn back.
Each and every one of them taking a pledge.
They were never satisfied until justice rolled down like waters,And righteousness like a mighty stream.

Our Goals Will be Achieved, if only we Dream (Fused with"I have a Dream" To Kill a Mockingbird) By: Analee Meyer

When one is young,
Once has no judgment upon the differences in people.
For this great country to become what it is,
We set a goal to become better and as one.

Taking a look at who you should be like,
We find that you should be like of a child.
A shell of innocence,
Yet filled with justice and understanding.

Knowing what we want,
We tend to just take.
The true beauty is earning it,
We work our tail off until we succeed.

When we take a pledge to step ahead,
We are taking a pledge to move above our selves.
The revolting whirlwinds will continue to shake our dreams,
Until the day our justice has over reigned.

Once hundred years in the past,
The Negro was an exile in his own land.
One hundred years in the future,
Our goals are not to be free unless we choose to do so.

When a great man once said, "Let Freedom Ring"
He said with pride, "We Will Achieve"
For America to become this great country,
We had to let the bell of justice finally ring, "Free at Last"
